Housing benefits (boligstøtte)

If you meet certain conditions, you may be eligible to apply for housing benefits from the municipality of Copenhagen.

Housing benefits (boligstøtte) are managed by the Public Benefits Administration (Udbetaling Danmark).

If your residence is rented and you meet certain conditions, you may apply for a monthly subsidy to help cover part of your rent.

Only one person per house/apartment can apply for housing benefits. You should first check if you are entitled to receive housing benefits before you apply.
