Reimbursement of bill in health insurance group 2

If you received treatment from a doctor who did not deduct the regional subsidy when you paid, you can apply for a reimbursement of the subsidy.

If you are in health insurance group 2, you will have to pay the difference yourself if the price of treatment with a GP (general practitioner) or specialist is higher than the reimbursement from the region.

Some GPs and specialists deduct the reimbursement from the bill before you pay. In other cases, you have to pay the entire bill and then apply for reimbursement of the subsidy from the municipality.

Please attach a receipt for payment, e.g. a copy of your bank statement. The money will be deposited into your NemKonto.

Please note that if you have multiple bills, you need to send an application for each bill.

If you do not have MitID, you can book an appointment at Citizen Service so we can help you apply for a reimbursement of your bill. Please make sure to bring a receipt for the payment, e.g. a copy of your bank statement.
