Find out who is registered as living at your address

An enquiry of occupiers of an address, also called a homeowner certificate, can tell you the names of everyone registered as living at a residential address if you are the owner, tenant, or administrator.

To find out who is registered as living at your address, you can book an appointment with Citizen Service and come to the appointment in person.

What you need to bring to the Citizen Service Centre:

  • MitID, if you have it
  • A valid form of personal identification such as a passport, driving license, yellow health card, or the original copy of your name, baptism, birth, or personal data certificate (personattest)
Get a personal data certificate (lifeindenmark.dk)
  • Proof of ownership or rental of the residence, such as deed, co-op share certificate, purchase agreement, or rental contract.

You must bring documentation that you are the owner, tenant, or administrator of the address.

The fee is DKK 95 (2025) which must be paid at your appointment with Citizen Service. You can pay with payment card, MobilePay or cash.

You will receive the certificate right away.
