The yellow health card - called "sundhedskort" or "sygesikringsbevis" in Danish - is a proof that you are part of the Danish health insurance. This means that you do not have to pay for doctor or hospital treatment. You only pay for part of your medicine.
When you are leaving Denmark there are conditions and rules you need to know about. You have to report the move to the authorities and to some of the institutions you have been using while living here.
