Salary and pension
Your salary will be stated in your contract. However, you will in many cases have a chance to negotiate your contract as well as your salary.
Your trade union can help you with salary negotiations. Some trade unions arrange courses in negotiating pay, and you will often also be able to get personal advice and coaching.
Your pension is paid for by yourself, the government and maybe your employer.
In Denmark, you receive state pension from the state of Denmark, but a lot of people choose to deposit money in a pension company. In some cases, your employer deposits money for your pension. However, that depends on your contract and terms of employment.
