Holiday

The Danes have on average 5-6 weeks holiday and vacation each year. As an employee you have a right to get paid during holidays.

Most of these weeks are placed within the official holiday weeks during the summertime, and over Christmas and Easter.

Generally, you have the right to 5 weeks’ holiday every year. However, whether you will receive holiday pay will depend on how long you have been employed since holiday pay must be earned.
