Going to a dentist

Dental care is partially subsidised for those aged 18 years and above.

Remember to bring along your Yellow Health Card when you visit your dentist.

You can book an appointment with your dentist either by calling or by booking an appointment online.

You only pay for 60% of your dental appointment and treatment while the remaining 40% will already have been deducted (covered by state subsidy) from your dental bill.

At the Copenhagen School of Dentistry, treatment is slightly cheaper than treatment by private dentists as it is performed by dental students supervised by qualified dentists.
