- The non-disclosure is valid until the date of expiry, even if you change your address
- Your address will always be available to public authorities
- In certain cases, your address may be disclosed to other private individuals able to document an overdue claim against you, for example, an invoice

Special information regarding direct mail
Charity organisations and opinion and market research companies may still call you, even if you have requested non-disclosure of your name and address.
Advertising materials and flyers, which do not carry an address, are not covered by this scheme. To avoid receiving this type of mail, sign up for 'reklamer nej tak' ('no advertising materials and flyers, please') with FK Distribution.
Discontinuation of non-disclosure
You can discontinue the non-disclosure using the online self-service solution above. You can also write to Folkeregisteret (the Public Registration Office) or visit a Citizen Service Centre (Borgerservice).
If you show up in person, remember to bring valid picture ID such as your passport or driving licence.
