Once our staff have set you up as a user, you will have access in the self-service opening hours.
The libraries and cultural centres that have self-service opening hours, can give you a code, which you need to use together with your Health Insurance Card. Once you are registered, you can use the same code to access all places that have self-service opening hours.
Everybody with a Danish Health Insurance Card can register. You just need to bring your Health Insurance Card and a valid photo ID – for example driving license or passport. Young people aged between 15 and 18 need to bring a parent/guardian when registering.
In order to get access in the self-service opening hours, you need to scan your Health Insurance Card in the card reader at the entrance and type in your PIN number.
Please come in! By using your Health Insurance Card (sygesikringsbevis) you can have an evening meeting in the cultural centre, read the morning paper at the library or you can take your books back to the library after dinner. Even though our staff has gone home, you do not have to go home too. You can make use of this service in places all over the city.
