Cycling in Copenhagen

Cycling is one of the easiest, cheapest and greenest ways to get around the city.

Bring your bike on the metro, train and harbour bus

You can bring your bicycle on all harbour buses when you buy a bike ticket.

You can bring your bike onboard S-trains for free. However, you are not allowed to get on or off the train with your bike at Nørreport Station during rush hours (Mondays to Fridays, 7:00-8:30 and 15:30-17:00).

During normal hours, you can bring your bike onboard the metro when you buy a bike ticket. Bikes are not allowed on the metro during rush hours (Mondays to Fridays, 7:00-9:00 and 15:30-17:30).
