You can choose if you want the certificate in Danish, English or German. It is possible to include additional information such as citizenship and previous names in the certificate.
After you have placed your order online, the certificate will be sent to your digital mailbox (Digital Post). If you do not have Digital Post, you will receive the certificate by ordinary post. You cannot receive the certificate by email.
If you have lived in Copenhagen before 1971, and you want these addresses, you cannot use the self-service solution on this site.
Instead, you should contact the Copenhagen Residence Register at +45 33 66 33 66.
If you don't have a NemID, you can get your certificate of residence and civil status at Copenhagen Citizen Service. There, you can only have the certificates printed in Danish. You can get the certificate on the same day.
