The Purpose and Legal Basis for the Processing of Your Personal Data

The purpose of the survey is to provide insight into where we can improve Copenhagen as a city. This includes:

  • Whether, as residents moving away, you experienced insecurity in traffic or in the city in general
  • Whether we are building the right types of housing
  • Whether healthcare services are functioning properly
  • Whether schools and daycare services are functioning satisfactorily
  • Whether you in general feel that you receive adequate municipal services.

The processing of your personal data is based on Article 6(1)(e), Article 9(2)(f), Section 11(1), and Articles 17(3)(d) and 89(2) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Storage of Information About You

The data is stored to examine developments in how citizens experience Copenhagen. The data may be disclosed for statistical and scientific purposes in other studies, for example within the municipality. In the event of disclosure, your personal data will still be processed in accordance with data protection rules.

We process the information from your questionnaire together with information obtained from registers concerning matters such as gender, age, employment, and ethnic background. We obtain information from registers to ensure that the results are as robust and comprehensive as possible.

The data will be deleted when it no longer serves a societal interest in accordance with the purpose of the survey.

The results of the survey will be published in a form where your responses cannot be traced back to you, and they will not be used for case processing or monitoring purposes.

Your Participation

You agree to participate in the survey when you begin answering the electronic questionnaire in the link below. Your responses are saved continuously and are therefore included in the survey, whether the questionnaire is fully or partially completed.

However, you may change your responses until you click “finish”. You may withdraw from the survey until the survey closes for responses on 20 May 2026.
