Report a problem

Help make Copenhagen accessible, clean and safe by keeping the authorities informed of any issues or problems in public areas.

If you come across any problems that may cause inconvenience or danger, you can make a report to the City of Copenhagen so that necessary action can be taken. 

Examples of problems you can report:

  • Potholes or damage to city streets or bike lanes
  • Broken road signs
  • Overflowing garbage bins
  • Lack of snow removal or salting

If the problem could cause acute danger

Defective traffic signals

Defective street lights

Call the municipality's guard station on 38 88 24 24 (open 24 hours).

Road work or lost property endangering road users

Call the Copenhagen Police on 33 14 14 48.

Tipped or dangerous road trees and park trees

Kl. 8-16: Call the City of Copenhagen on 33 66 33 66.

After kl. 16: Call the Copenhagen Police on 33 14 14 48.
