Where do I search for a job?

If you are looking for work in Copenhagen, there are several places you can get an overview of relevant job postings.

Online

There are several online portals where you as a job seeker can focus your search and upload your resume so employers can find your profile.

You can start your job search at www.workindenmark.dk, which is the official international portal for job search in Denmark.

Find other portals and advice about job search here:

  • Jobnet is the largest website available for job seeking in Denmark. It is for both job seekers and employers.
  • First Job Copenhagen is a programme for foreigners living in Denmark. They offer courses and counseling about job search both in Danish and English. Read more at What is First job Copenhagen?
  • AngloINFO has a large job database on jobs.angloinfo.com. Here you can search for jobs in different catagories and if you upload your CV they match you with available jobs.

At Ny i Danmark you can also find information about job search in Denmark.

Networking

Even though the Danes use the different portals for job search a lot, it is often through networking that you find the new job. Therefore, it can be a good idea to get involved in local institutions and to spend some time researching expat communities and other relevant web communities.

Work in Denmark-centres
